Meet our Founder

Mohammad Naushad Alam

He started his career in the export industry, where he noticed a gap in the market: high-quality embroidery materials and reliable laser-cutting services were scarce. Most materials, including sequins, were imported, limited to Chinese designs, and only available in bulk.

Seeing this, he founded Barira Fashion to create innovative, made-in-India materials that offer custom designs, low minimum order quantities, and high-quality finishes. He introduced laser cutting without burn marks and custom sequins cutting in any shape, color, or size — all with a minimum order of just 12 pieces. Today, Barira Fashion’s materials are trusted by designers and luxury brands worldwide.

Founded in 2012, Barira Fashion is where creativity meets precision. We specialize in laser cutting, embossing, printing, engraving, 3D material development, and embroidery materials for the global fashion industry.

Everything we create is made in-house at our factory in Mumbai, India. With advanced machinery and a team of skilled artisans, we turn raw materials into innovative designs — and our factory is open for client visits so you can see the process firsthand.

What We Do

• Laser Cutting: Precision cutting on fabrics, leather, faux leather, acrylic, sequins, and metal — with zero burn marks.

• Printing: Custom prints on any surface, from fabric to acrylic, leather, and metal.

• Embossing & 3D Textures: Embossed flowers, textures, and designs on multiple materials. Dies for embossing are free for our clients.

• Sequins Cutting: Wide variety of shapes, colors, and custom designs, overcoming the limitations of bulk imported sequins.

• Resin & Acrylic Work: Modern, durable materials designed for creative fashion collections.
